Radical Self Acceptance Part Two

Hey all, as some of you know, I don’t have much of a social life. Granted, I still spend a lot of time in bed, which sucks. However, what is even more disheartening is when I encounter people who can’t see passed my disability. Now, I’m not going to lie here anymore, dwelling on the fact that some think that my physical impairments somehow impairs my ability to be a decent friend.

Dwelling doesn’t get me anywhere. It doesn’t make the bad stuff suck any less, and there is so much more that I want to do with my life, I’d rather focus on that. This isn’t an easy thing to achieve, (I am constantly readjusting my focus) but at the end of the day, it all comes down to accepting where you are at, as well as the following questions.

Are YOU happy with yourself, and if you’re not, what are you going to do to change that?
